I find dark red and purple berry aromas in this wine … dark cherries, plum, pomegranate, hints of oak, tea leaf, dark chocolate. On the palate the wine is ripe and full bodied yet vibrant and displays a wonderful juxtaposition of round texture and defined angles. It is a rich wine with dark ripe fruit, balanced with a nice spicy character from the Cabernet Franc in the blend. The finish is long and lingering. This wine will benefit from being gently decanted, and will age gracefully for 6-8 years. Drink Now through 2022.
