2010 'RESERVE' Cabernet Sauvignon

2010 'RESERVE' Cabernet Sauvignon

Aromatics of juicy red fruits, toasty sweet oak and hints of vanilla. Flavors follow similarly and mostly noted is rich berry pie. This wine once again shows nice consistency and balance throughout the entire experience – from the aromatics through to the finish. The mouth-feel is rich in texture and the finish sails on framed by firm but velvety tannins.

Vineyard Notes
Our Flagship wine is our CORLEY RESERVE Cabernet Sauvignon. Utilizing the strengths of each of our cabernet sauvignon vineyards in Rutherford, Yountville and St Helena give us the luxury of three of Napa Valley's premier Cabernet Sauvignon growing areas. to produce full, rich and complex Cabernet Sauvignon wine. Typically luscious, powerful and richly textured our CORLEY RESERVE is full-bodied and while ready to drink is also a wine to lay down for the years to come. Aromatics of juicy red fruits, toasty sweet oak and hints of vanilla. Flavors follow similarly, most notably rich berry pie as the wine opens up. This wine once again shows nice consistency and balance throughout the entire experience – from the aromatics through to the finish. The mouthfeel is rich in texture and the finish sails on framed by firm but velvety tannins, one of the hallmarks of our wine.
Winemaker Notes
The aromas are very expressive, displaying ample dark ripe berry fruit, mocha and cigar box notes. There is a pleasant beam of vanilla and spicy clove character that integrates with the dark fruit on the nose. On the palate, the wine is powerful. The fruit is dark and expressive, offering ripe blackberry and black cherry flavors with a medley of vanilla and mocha tones from the barrels. It has a full body, with ample yet balanced tannins that will match well with a range of dishes, yet will also provide the wine with the backbone for graceful long term aging. Drink Now through 2028. Estimated Peak 2016-2024.
