Our 2011 Corley Proprietary Red Wine displays a deep ruby red color. The aromas are fragrant, with dark berry fruit intertwined with light vanilla tones and lightly toasted oak in the background. On the palate, the wine is very smooth with a great core of fruit. I find the tannins moderate and the mid-palate is medium weight. The flavors are red berry and smoky with a nice lingering tone in the finish. This wine opens up wonderfully after being in the glass or decanter for an hour so.
