The mélange of the nose displays a wonderful sense of the true ripeness of the grapes
achieved from such a long, cool growing season. On the palate, the wine reveals an
elegance and balance that is further evidence of the fully ripened tannins. The wine
is rich upon the attack and maintains a full powerful presence on the mid-palate. The
richness of the texture is very appealing and the moderate tannins provide just the
right structure to frame the wine. The finish is smooth, lingering and mouthwatering.

91 CORLEY 2011 'Yewell Vineyard' Cabernet Sauvignon
(St. Helena). A nose of vanilla and caramel blended with cooked cherry sauce, licorice, chocolate chips and cigar box smells like a hedonistic dessert. The palate grows more serious, showing cooked beef, anise, red cherries, elderberries and cedar. —M.K., Wine Enthusiast, Oct 2015

✩✩✩✩✩(5 Stars) The Corley Family made impressive Cabernets and blends in 2011. The 2011 Yewell bottling is exceptional: supple, ripely flavored, and full bodied; a wine with excellent flavor (cassis, cherry, plum, blackberry, toast, spicy oak), good balance, and a long finish.
