Block V is planted entirely to Cabernet Sauvignon Clone #4 on St. George rootstock. St. George promotes deep rooting and resilience, while Clone #4 contributes concentration, vibrant aromatics, and a refined tannin profile, attributes that shine clearly in this inaugural bottling.
In the glass, the wine opens with beautiful, bright aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry, and cassis, layered with subtle notes of graphite, bay leaf, and dried herbs. The palate is full-bodied and generous, framed by rich, well-structured tannins that provide both power and elegance. Dark fruit flavors are complemented by hints of cocoa, cedar, and warm spice, carrying through to a long, persistent finish.
