This wine has a deep and vibrant magenta hue that persists to the edge of the glass. The aromas are very inviting, enticing with tones of dark berry fruits, chocolate and smoky coffee. On the palate the wine makes a bold entrance which is reaffirmed by a strong personality at its core. The mid-palate is big and the wine is nicely framed with chewy tannins that will allow this wine to age gracefully well into the next decade. The finish is long and lingering and this wine will reward the patient oenophile. Decant for 30 – 60 min.

I’m enjoying this wine now and feel that it will age well through 2025, perhaps longer. – Chris Corley, Winemaker
The 2009 Corley Yewell Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon exuberant bright red and purple berry fruit along with rich tones of dark shaved chocolate. The oak is well integrated in the nose and reveals a very nice mocha and coffee aroma in the wine. There is a hint of eucalyptus aroma in the background that is very appealing as well. On the palate, this wine is rich in texture with well-defined tannins that frame the wine beautifully and will allow this wine to age gracefully. – Chris Corley, Winemaker
The 2009 Tietjen Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is another classic. Dark red fruit, loads of sweet vanilla and mocha oak. The texture is very rich with a big and full mid-palate and the tannins frame the wine wonderfully. The finish is long and the tannins are smooth. The wine is powerfully elegant – a trait that we have found consistently in this wine since our first Vintage in 1989.
Depth-Defying Richness. This wine is offering fantastic primary aromas of rich, ripe red-berry fruit. I find undertones of sweet blond oak and light caramel. On the palate the wine is lush, with a deep core of ripe fruit on the mid-palate. From front to finish, this wine is wonderfully balanced with richness in depth of body and also in character of tannins.
This wine has a deep, inky color from the hallmark extraction of the 2013 Vintage.
The aromas offer dark red and black berry fruits, wonderfully intertwined with mocha,
chocolate and lightly toasted oak. The rich, full-bodied palate provides rounded
tannins, a big mid-palate and a fantastic finish. Drink Now through 2026.
Spicy, Fragrant, Massive, Dark Berry Fruit. The Dark Side! Our Syrah is almost onyx in color with intense aromas of blackberry, espresso and spice. The traditional Syrah core of ripe black fruit is supported by well infused tannins. A pleasurable mouth full of wine that finishes forever.
The CORLEY Proprietary Red Wine represents the art of blending the depth and richness of cabernet sauvignon with the structure and spice of cabernet franc and the smooth elegance of merlot. As for 2013, I find expressive and dense aromas of dark black berries, cassis, mocha and hints of sweet toasted vanilla oak and spice tones. On the palate the full bodied wine is richly textured with robust tannins, dark ripe flavors and a finish that goes on and on. Drink from 2016-2036.
